Comments are pouring in from colleagues, bassists, and cellists about the sound of my new 5 string bass. It has a warm, rich, very clear sound and is so easy to play, both the articulation and the physiques of it. It has a good tone in the high register, a very good tone in the middle, and in the low the tone is, to say the least, impressive! The clarity I find in my 300+ year old bass reminds me of this bass, and I conclude that this is the first 5 string bass that I ever really felt like wanting to play. After some months in performance I can safely say that this bass has not come up short in any of the repertoire.” -Peder Linneberg, principal of Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester in Denmark.
